Penny Wars

Thanks to you, Penny Wars is off to a great start with the pots in each class starting to fill up nicely.

Whether it’s a handful of coppers, a pocket full of silver or even a cheeky little note, it all adds up to make a big difference for our school fundraising!

Penny wars will continue until the end of March, so let’s see how much we can raise together, and the winning class will win extra break time. Every penny counts, and we appreciate any and all donations—big or small, thank you! :)

World Book Day

On Thursday 6th March, the PTA will hold a second hand book sale & ‘Treat Thursday’ stall after school in the playground/a classroom at 3:15pm.

If you have any unwanted children’s books in good condition that you’d like to de-clutter your house of, then please drop off your items to the School office before the 6th March.

Volunteers needed please!

Being a registered charity, the PTA need your help please to keep the events calendar rolling throughout the year!

Any amount of your time, little or often will be very much appreciated, whether it be to help on a Treat Friday, serve refreshments at the disco, design posters, plan for the larger scale events and help set up for them etc.

The PTA will be holding their next general meeting with Mrs Bamford on Tuesday 18th March from 6pm at the School, to share and discuss ideas for forthcoming activities. All parents, carers & guardians are welcome to attend, so if you’d like to come along, please can you just drop a quick message to pta@worlebury.bwmat.org.uk so that we can stock up on enough cakes, it’d be great to see you there.

If you’re keen to help but unable to make the meeting, then no problem, please just get in touch and we can add you to our WhatsApp group.

Mother’s Day Treats

Brownett’s Bakes are once again offering delicious cake boxes to pre-order ahead of the 30th March, priced at £10 each. A letter will be sent out next week with all the details, so please keep an eye out for this if you’d like to treat your loved ones (& yourself!).

School Disco

The next after school disco will take place on Thursday 3rd April, with more details to follow shortly.
