Glow Disco
Wow, the 7th November was an evening to remember for our children, with the Glow Disco proving to be a great success and everyone having so much fun!
With special UV lights (on a very kind loan from the Oxford Theatre) installed, the School hall was transformed and it was a non-stop party atmosphere. KS1 & KS2 were showing off their dance moves, as well as the legendary Mr Mackie with his ‘worm’ dance, and even some budding young pop stars taking to the stage with a fantastic sing-a-long crowd.
The children were eager to put in their music requests, much to the delight of the teachers and PTA helpers when Rick Astley’s ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’ was asked for on repeat by the kids, proving that music really does last for many generations.
The PTA have asked to extend their sincere thanks to Mrs Bamford for her unwavering support with our charity events, Mr Gill for once again being our Disco maestro on the microphone, all of the teachers and teaching assistants who gave up their time to participate, and to all of the parents who supported this event with ticket purchases and making arrangements in order for so many of the children to be able to attend, it is very much appreciated!
